Novation’s RollCode defect tracking system, when signaled
by an operator, or by input from any automatic inspection device,
places a flag on the moving web to mark defects. RollCode records
the location(s) and interacts with downstream process equipment,
to automatically stop the equipment at the flagged location. The
defective material can then be spliced out.
- Roll ID# and the defect location information
stored on a LAN
- Roll ID# and the defect location information stored
on the RollCode website or your website
- Roll ID# and the defect location information encoded
into a bar code printed label and kept with the roll.
